"Weight Drop Launch"

This is a type of launching mechanism seen on some versions of the Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop roller coasters. It works by using a heavy weight, attached to cables and pulleys that draw the train out from the station and to its maximum speed. Other methods that make use of momentum are the Catapult Launch, the Compressed Air Launch and the Flywheel Launch.
